After last week's elimination of Ashlee (who danced "like they do in heaven") and Ricky (who was choreographer Mia Michaels' favorite, even though he appeared as though he would eat your soul without thinking twice), the remaining 18 dancers had to really step their game up for the June 20th Top 18 performances. Judged by Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Mia Michaels, the top 9 couples had to perform with one another for the second time since the competition began. Although they perform as a couple, the contestants are evaluated and eliminated individually. However, it just so happens that Ashlee and Ricky were a couple, so after they were sent home last Thursday, there was no need to rematch the duos.

Mia Michaels, who is usually the harshest critic, wasn't kidding when she said she must have drank "love juice" before the show, because she gave glowing reviews to virtually all the couples dancing. Lauren & Neil's hip-hop routine, Pasha & Jessi's pop jazz and Hok & Jamie's samba all earned her praises.

After Dominic and Sabra's botched disco routine landed them in the bottom three last week, the judges were thrilled to see how flawlessly they executed this contemporary piece put together by Mandy Moore (no, not that Mandy Moore.)

SABRA & DOMINIC: Contemporary

Kameron and Lacey, who performed the best routine of the night last week, hands down, with their contemporary dance choreographed to the song "Dancing" by Elisa, had a tough act to follow. They set the bar for themselves pretty high with that first performance, and now it's up to them to see if they can live up to the expectations they set. Although perhaps not as good as their first dance, Lacey and Kameron did manage to complete a Tyce Diorio Broadway routine with sultry style and grace.

KAMERON & LACEY: Broadway

Anya and Danny, who rocked the stage last week with their Jive, return in full force to deliver a Viennese Waltz. They both look absolutely stunning, and they execute their dance with professionalism that makes Mary Murphy belt out her signature "WHOOOOO!!!!" screech.

ANYA & DANNY: Viennese Waltz

Closing out the night are Sara and Jesus, whose "vagabond cabaret" dance from last week quickly catapulted them into popularity. Sara, the first hip-hopper/B-girl to be seen on the show, is versatile beyond belief--and she looks as good in baggy jeans, a baseball cap and a sweatshirt as she does in a short skirt Latin skirt with make-up on. Although the choice of "We Will Rock You" by Queen is certainly not a typical selection for a Paso Doble routine, the two pulled it off perfectly and were a great way to end the night.

SARA & JESUS: Paso Doble
