The Sacred Heart Soup Diet is a diet that can provide great weight loss and detoxifying benefits to anyone who follows it. This diet is one of the best diets you can find for losing weight without the typical deprivation that goes along with weight loss. The key to this diet is the Sacred Heart Soup which you can eat endless amounts of for the seven days you follow the diet. Along with other foods taken on specific days you can benefit from detoxification and weight loss.

Many people who follow this diet lose up to 17 pounds in a week. Whether you're using it as a springboard for a healthier lifestyle, for a special event that you want to look extra slim for or because you want to be healthier and benefit from a detox diet, the Sacred Heart Diet is a great option.

Here is the Sacred Heat Soup Recipe:You can make the recipe on your stove or in a crockpot. This recipe can be done in various ways as well.

Use 2 large cans of tomatoes

a few green onions

Brewed green or white tea (1-2 cups for extra antioxidant and metabolism power.) Optional

Beef Bovril (or other bullion)chicken noodle soup mix3 stalks celery1-2 pounds of carrots

1-2 peppers any colour you like

1-2 cups vegetable cocktail such as Mott's Clamato or V-8 Juice

1/2 head of shredded cabbage

Cook until everything is tender. Keeps in the fridge about 2-3 days. At day 3 the noodles might get a little too soggy.

Here is the diet schedule. The schedule is key to success. Eat as much as you like from this menu but follow the daily guidelines.

Please note, it's not advised to follow this diet beyond seven days without a short break in between cycles! Talk to your doctor if you have any health concerns!!

This used to be called The Cabbage Soup diet. My mother used this when I was a child. It works temporarily for weight loss, but you gain the weight right back once you're off of it. It is good for detox, and should be thought of as that.

Yes, the terms are used interchangeably. I agree that it's a great detox diet and a springboard for a healthier lifestyle.

Cheers,

Dana
