Safeway is truly an excellent company to work for as they pride themselves on how friendly and professional their staff is. Are you interested in possibly getting a job with them, but perhaps you are not quite sure where to start? This is not a problem, as I will be more than happy to assist you with this!

Applying for a job with Safeway is much easier than you might initially think with the Safeway online job application system. The first thing you will need to do is go to safeway.com.  Next, scroll down to the very bottom of their home page.  Along the very bottom row about half way across, you will see in bold print where it says company info.  Directly underneath the company info heading are several different links that you can choose from.  You will want to click on the second link down that says careers.  Assuming you have done this correctly, you should then see a large banner near the top of the page that says "In the market for an exciting new career"?  Located right under that, you will see several different career paths that you can choose from.  Just for the purpose of this article, let's click on the store positions link.

As you can see from the information they have listed, Safeway is currently hiring for all store positions.  This is great, as it means there is a high likelihood that you will have a variety of different positions to choose from.  Therefore, you are sure to find something that suits your interests and works well with the particular skill sets that you possess.  Next, you will need to click on the apply now button.  On the following screen, use the drop down menu to choose what geographic location you would like to work in.  Once you do that, it will then bring you to their online job application.

On the first page of the Safeway online job application, use the drop down menu to verify that you meet their minimum age requirements. You will then need to press the continue button which will then bring you to the next screen.  Next, using the drop down menu, select which state you want to work in.  You will then need to type in your zip code and then use another drop down menu to select the miles radius to show how far away you'd be willing to work.  Next, click the find button.  It will then bring you to a screen that will show you all the stores in your area that you can choose from.  Pick a store location and then click on the choose a position button located right next to it.  On the next screen, find the position you're most interested in and click on the apply button located right next to the job title.

Once you're at this point, the rest of the Safeway online job application is a breeze!  Just be sure to carefully read through the instructions to insure that you fill everything out properly.
