Some will need a little repair but the engine and electrical circuits will be very sound. If you can find and salvage car auctions in your area go to them  at once.

Only if you know what you are doing. There will be a lot of mechanics, dealers and car breakers attending. If you are prepared to bid higher than them, there is a reason for them stopping. They have stopped bidding as there is no profit margin left. If you are thinking of getting into this game to make money, you would be wise to go along to a few auctions without bidding. Just speculate. The line between profit and loss is very slim. You have to be shifting massive quantities of car parts regularly before any profit is seen.
