Samir Nasri
69Samir Nasri - The new Zidane
The young Algerian player Samir Nasri is only 19 and has already had a fantastic season in the french soccer team Olympique becoming the purchase target of numerous European soccer clubs.

Every soccer team wants Samir Nasri
Real Madrid want him, Manchester United want him, Inter wants this guy! His level of play is really good for a 19 year old, so everybody is watching this guy.
Samir Nasri - The new Zidane
This is where it gets creepy or, I'd better say, beautiful. His game style is almost entirely like Zidane's. He has a French passport too, so it's a matter of time when he will be called to played for the French national soccer team. Just like Zidane did. Just watch his videos and judge for yourself. I'd say that even the looks of Samir Nasri remind me of the French soccer great - Zinedine Zidane. About leaving French first league, this is what he said: "I am 19 years old, it would be a suicide to leave abroad. I still have proof to make in L1."
Another great Samir Nasri video - he has skills!

I don't know, it still stays to be seen wheter he plays for France, AFAIK. I loved watching him on those videos, a true talent. Today is a big day in Europe for soccer fans - Euro 2008 qualifing matches :)
Keep us posted who is favored and who is not. It will be a madhouse, most of the teams are good.
Croatia is doing amazingly, if Croatia wins Russia today, they're almost certainly in. Another match to look at is Estonia - England, very important and could get rough. Also, Poland is almost there too if they win against Armenia (which they will :)
There is so much parity, every year new teams come by. Hope there is no huge upset. :)
i think hes the best player
The videos captured the highlights of his game but it is not easy to eclipse Zidane's achievements. Ambition is one thing but he still has to show what he can do for the big European big clubs and in international competitions. He has to move on, staying in the French league will hardly make him a superstar.
I must agree with JohnST.
I've had one comment in french, please write it in english so that everyone can understand it. Thanks!
well,i think he can be very successful.he is not only a good player but also a good person.i think he has what is necessary to be a hero.i wish he make tyhe best decision about his future(it is more important than anything).
i believe that if (someday) Real madrid knocks at his door he should considr it.Real Madrid has got a very bright history and they are very prostiguse club, because they care about their players personalities and behaviors.
best wishe for you Mr Nasri

samir nasri at arsenal, we are going to be wicked next season, we salute u samir.
what brand of underwear does samir nasri wear???
nasri is the best player [it means far far far farbetter than idiot ronaldo] luv nasri
Nasri is a good player but in my opinion is not in the same league as Zidane.
Zidane is the best player of his generation. I just did an article on my best 5 footballers of the nineties, and Zidane was at the top, let me know if you agree with the list!

Thats awesome, we don't get to see all these stars in the US, but slowly they are showing now, thanks to Youtube and Hubpages like yours. This guy is awesome, I am sure he will be a great one. Will he end up playing for France like Zinadine, who is my favorite player. Too bad he was sent off.
