Wondering what to write in an anniversary card? Figuring out a special anniversary card message for your husband or wife can be challenging whether it's your first or your 50th wedding anniversary. Use these anniversary card message ideas for your card. Combine them or change them as you need to make them fit the person who will receive your gift of words.

It's the one day and one celebration that you need to be as personal as possible. The examples below are meant to inspire you to write your own message. Use your own feelings and experiences to create a special anniversary message. Your card should answer the question, why is your marriage cool, funny, important, beautiful? Also you may want to ask, why is this person cool, funny, important, or beautiful?

You can buy a gift for your anniversary that will send a message of love, but it may be a good idea for you to use words to express yourself. You can write a love poem or a love song that will become an anthem for what you would really like to say.
