Okay, party people in the house, here's something you've never witnessed before...

....something you can use!

Great Drunken Party Trick

Play any of these originals for your friends and then press pause after three seconds and say, "I'll bet you $20 you can't tell me what song that was". You'll be rich by the end of the party and then you're friends will be hungry for more. That's how I got addicted to Samples....except the drunken party was the bar I was working at. Once you get bit by the breakbeat bug, you can't stop it. Every song you hear on the radio, you'll be wondering I wonder where they got that from? Then you'll wanna go find out and it never ends cause there's new songs every week...

This is the First of a Series of videos I will be putting out to uncover the greatest Samples and Break Beats in Hip-Hop History. I will be honoring the original artists whose work has allowed a whole generation to get their funk on all over again. From P-Funk to G-Funk and beyond...

SPOILER ALERT! >>> SPOILER ALERT!

I noticed that at times during this video presentation of mine you can't quite understand me over the music so I added the text here for you at the bottom of the page BUT BEWARE. It takes ALL element of surprise out of the show!! You may want to ignore the list until after you have watched the video. That way you can enjoy the presentation without distraction and all the while know you will have all applicable information waiting for you as you leave the theatre. :0)

It also should be noted that I am a Funktual Being meaning that I don't get embarassed by dancing like a total freak because that is entirely the point. People who wanna take themselves seriously can listen to Radiohead. I am a disciple of James, Sly, Curtis & Prince where we wear our Disorderly Conduct proudly like a trophy. I seem really stoned for about ten seconds in the beginning there and then I kick into high gear once the music starts. Hm, weird.

OKAY...ENJOY THE FREAKSHOW AND KEEP ON SPREADIN' THE FUNK!

DJ Funktual breaks off 10 of the Greatest Samples EVER right here!

This is great! the masses need to be educated to the original artists that put out this music. Too many producers (especially Dr.Dre) take too much credit sampling these people's work and most if not all times those original artists get ignored when it comes to original recognition.

Cool, Funky and smooth all at the same time! That's a damn good video. I shudder to think how many liberties nave been taken in sampling classic soul and funk tunes without giving the original artist their due credit.--- Great Hub!
