I am very satisfied with this TV. Looks much better at home than in the shops. I use it with Dish VIP622 HD receiver. I have no idea of the reliability of this position. Time will tell. Sound is bearable. The SRS, as usual, is yech. Samsung should be used only in simulated surround. I leave SRS off.Picture adjustment ability is good. I can not as warm as I would like. It has selections from cool1, cool2, normal, warm1 and warm2. Warm, but not indicate with my selection of picture modes and special features ... This is a disappointment. But you can still easy to put your visual preference. I hope the lack of light and color can be found on this longtime TV. But I would be extended warranty. The LED engine costs about $ 1200 to replace, compared to a few hundred for a light bulb. I have read reviews where people have problems. When the device is not perfect, out of the box, return it immediately. And, as I said, the extension of the guarantee to .... Always on a big-ticket item, or DLP tv.

Enjoy more picture and less frame with Samsung's HL-T5687S DLP HDTV. The piano black bezel is just 0.6" wide; the set's slim depth lets it fit where others won't. The energy-efficient 56" screen features a powerful, long-lasting LED light engine that turns on almost instantly. Full HD 1080p resolution and Samsung Cinema Smooth technology deliver a wide range of brilliant colors, with bright images and crisp definition. The blackest blacks, brightest whites and nuanced tones are yours with a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Hidden speakers deliver clear, robust SRS TruSurround XT sound.

The HLT generation of Samsung DLP HDTVs are capable of displaying future 3D games, movies, and other programming via 3D compatible glasses and hardware.
