The Samsung Solstice A887 is the latest tablet phone available on AT&T. Its combines touchscreen capabilities with many other features for an affordable price.

The Samsung Solstice weighs 3.33 oz and has the dimensions 4.3 x 2.1 x 0.5 in. It features a 3.0 inch touchscreen TFT display and has a resolution of 240X400 pixels. It supports upto 262K colors. The phone runs on Samsung's TouchWiz interface which gives it a dashing look. There are many widgets available on the home screen - a calendar, world clock, analog clock, AT&T Navigator shortcut, alarm clock, web browser shortcut, photo viewer, calculator and many more. The widget toolbar also has shortcuts to popular social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter.

The Samsung Solstice features a 2.0 megapixel camera. It can take photos in 5 resolutions - right from 1,600x1,200 pixels down to 320x240 pixels. The camera lacks a flash so photo quality is not great in dark places. Other camera features include self-portrait mirror, exposure metering, night mode, self timer, panorama mode, mosaic mode, smile shot detection and much more.The camera can also record videos at 176 x 144 resolution.

The Samsung Solstice also has a music player. It can play MP3, AAC, Real, WAV, WMA music files. It also has access to AT&T Mobile Music so you can purchase and download songs directly to your phone. Other features of the music player include album art, playlists, shuffle and repeat modes, and an airplane mode.The Solstice can also play videos of MP4, 3GP formats. The Samsung Solstice A887 has a Netfront 3.5 web browser which supports HTML. So, you can access the internet in the same way as you do on your computer. Other connectivity features include GPS, Bluetooth, Stereo Bluetooth, USB mass storage mode. It comes preloaded with AT&T Navigator and an Where app for tracking your location.
