San Diego Beach Vacation
50A San Diego beach vacation is all you need for a good time and relaxation. San Diego is the second biggest city in California. It has miles of beaches, outstanding amusement parks, and a happening nightlife. It has an average annual temperature of 70 degrees. It may get a little warm in the summer, but that's what the beach is for. In the winter, it is very comfortable. The beaches are crowded during the summer, but a good time for a San Diego beach vacation is October, when everyone is in school or back to work, so you can enjoy the warm weather without the crowds.
There are many beaches to choose from on a San Diego beach vacation. There's Coronado Beach next to the famous Hotel del Coronado. It's a beautiful hotel and really upscale. La Jolla has the Shores and the Cove. The Cove is a great place to snorkel, dive, and kayak. It also has caves to explore. The Shores is a pretty beach, good for laying out. The Children's Pool Beach is a good one for the kids. It has seals and sea lions resting on Seal Rock or on the shore. Black's Beach is a popular one and is a little more adventurous being clothing optional.
Some of the best amusements parks can be found here on a San Diego beach vacation. LegoLand is a favorite for the kids. Everything is made of Lego's and the kids really enjoy it. There's also SeaWorld, with Shamu, and other shows that involve animals from the sea. SeaWorld is fun, clean, and favorite of mine. But don't miss out on the San Diego Zoo, it's world famous. And it's sister park, San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. Here you can watch animals coexisting in their natural environment. It's a treat.
If you are looking for restaurants and a nightlife, then check out the Gaslamp Quarter. This is also the urban shopping district in San Diego. It's also accessible by the metro rail. San Diego's metro is really nice and a pleasure to ride on. It's clean and you can travel from Old Town all the way to the border on your San Diego beach vacation. The Gaslamp Quarter also has many bars and fabulous restaurants. Try Cafe Sevilla for some exquisite tapas and paella and other Spanish food. Or stroll with your loved one through the little shops and seafood restaurants of Seaport Village. Gaze off into the views of Coronado and the Coronado bridge. It's quite a sight.
So when you're on a San Diego beach vacation, be sure to take in the sights, enjoy the beaches, and take advantage of everything that this beautiful city has to offer.
