Most comfortable Indian women wear is Saree, principal outer garment of women of the Indian subcontinent, consisting of a piece of often brightly coloured, frequently embroidered, silk, cotton, or, in recent years, synthetic cloth five to seven yards long. It is worn wrapped around the body with the end left hanging or used over the head as a hood.
Wearing a saree: Starting at the navel, tuck the plain end of the saree into the petticoat and continue tucking till you take a complete turn from right to left. Adjust the lower end of the saree to the height required. Ideally wear your footwear so that you drape the saree to the right lengt

I have always admired the sarees I've seen - they're exquisite. They also complement the ladies wearing them, even if they don't look like a Bollywood star. I wouldn't mind if I could wear one - but as a non-indian lady, I always wonder whether it wouldn't look weird on me. Indian culture is diverse, rich and amazing to see and participate in.
