There is another way that you can download YouTube videos without having to pay for a single cent. When you get to YouTube, simply choose your intended video and right click on the actual page. Select View Source option from the emerging menu table, if you are using a non-FireFox Browser; or select View Page Source if indeed you have FireFox. Press Ctrl+F so that you can search for the words player2.scwf.

Something like this should show up in the address bar (addresses may be long, so look carefully): /player2.swf?hl=en&video_id=tRTk0RPXtW4&I=63&t=OEgsToPDkIQlbZ wT1Qgain7RKqMqrKe. Simply replace /player2.swf with the words: www.youtube.com /get_video.

So this should look like: www.youtube.com/get_video?hl=en&video_id= tRTk0RPXtW4&I=63&t=OEgsToPDkIQlbZ wT1Qgain7RKqMqrKe.

After you've clicked enter, the subsequent page will eventually prompt you to save the video; which you will do, of course by replacing its current filename extension with .flv to make it permanent. So, you should be naming your video with a filename that is similar to: myvideo.flv. FLV actually stands for flash video.

Unless you already have a flash video player, you cannot play your saved file readily. But players of this kind are easily and freely downloaded from multiple sites. All you have to do next is to download and install the player and viola! You can now watch your saved file offline, and any time you feel like it.
