FreeRice online game

An online internet vocabulary game “FreeRice” at freerice.com is generating rice stocks to feed the poor people around the world. About 25,000 people die each day from hunger or hunger-related causes, most of them children. Any sensible person can realize that how sad it could be to a mother or father watching a loved child die in their arms from hunger. I have donated 30 grains of rice that you are seeing in the screenshot shown below. I clicked three correct answers and this resulted 30 rice grains to a hungry person. You can also do it by playing this online game. While someone in need of food will give his/her blessings to you, your vocabulary will simultaneously improve. The rice you donate is more precious than anything in the world. You can save thousands of people by just playing the game as your each click for a correct answer the website donates money to buy 10 grains of rice. It has already generated enough rice to feed 50,000 people for a day. Companies advertising on the website provide the money to the UN’s World Food Program to buy and distribute the rice. The game was launched on October 7, 2007 and since then has generated 3,531,907,16 grains of rice, to feed the poor people who can not afford to buy enough food to feed themselves and their dependents as per the statistics provided by the site.
