Savory Crab Quiche and a Fairy Tale
91Seeing Double!
Good morning fellow and beloved breakfastpoppers. Today is Fairy Tale Friday, November 13, in the year of our Kingdom 2009. We have a new and potentially frightening development that must be discussed among us. Let's prepare a delicious Savory Crab Quiche and meet at the edge of the forest. We won't enter the woods this day for fear that the ants will make us itchy.
Please gather together 2 cups of heavy cream from your fat cow (oh my, is that politically incorrect?), 8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese, 1 cup milk, 6 large eggs, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 dash of cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 small cans of crab meat (it's a fairy tale, pretend).
Mix all ingredients, except crab, until well blended and slightly frothy. You might want to use an electric mixer for this, but unfortunately it has yet to be invented. Drain crab and fold into egg mixture. Pour into 2 unbaked deep dish pie shells. Bake at 375 degrees for at least 50 minutes until tops are browned and knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Pack up the quiche in a picnic basket, bring some ale and head for the edge of the woods.
Welcome breakfastpoppers. Sit down upon your blankets, pour your ale and slice your quiche. We have a very unusual situation on our hands. Let me explain, if I may. As I am sure you all realize King Teleprompter has been flitting around the universe speaking to the world about his plans and dreams, apologizing for his Kingdom's snotty above it all attitude, reaching out to our enemies, destroying our health care, making false promises, making false assertions, indicting his critics, ignoring his troops, turning a deaf ear to our questions, jousting endlessly with friends and going out for a night or nights on the town with the Queen, at our expense. He is never in the castle, he is the ultimate traveler jumping from one end of the Kingdom to another, traveling to the far distant corners of the earth on our dime.
I say all this travel is impossible for one man. As of late, he has been spotted in two different locations at once. I know, I know, I can tell by the shocked expression on your faces that the light is beginning to dawn upon you. There are two King Teleprompters, not one. There may be even more, we can't be sure. For all we know there may not be a real King at all, just some actors doing someone else's bidding and following someone else's orders.
This fully explains the inconsistency of his actions. He says one thing and does another. He takes credit for things that haven't even occurred. Why just the other day he proclaimed that he and his stimulus bill have created and saved over one million jobs in the Kingdom. Preposterous, I say. We are all unemployed and if not for our farm animals and a few cans in our larder, we would be eating dirt!
Now we can understand why the King can't make a decision about the troops we have far, far away. They are languishing in a strange land waiting for reinforcements that never seem to come. The man we call our King is incapable of making such an important decision. He doesn't have the skills necessary nor the interest quite frankly. Neither of the "kings" do which is why they keep dogding the big questions and why they never stay in the castle.
Breakfastpoppers, this situation has gone on long enough. We need to confront one of the Kings and tell him flat out what we suspect. We need to pose some tough questions and we must be persistent and demand real answers. We want to know why he can't reach a decision about the wars, we want to know what he plans on doing about rising unemployment in the Kingdom, we want to know why he is determined to destroy our health care, we want to know why his "people" are all radical and opposed to our cherished way of life.
We will never receive satisfactory answers to any of this but we must go through the motions anyway and then we must do the only thing we can do to save our Kingdom. We must vote him(and his double") out of office and send him and his czars far, far away.
All those in favor say "Aye". All those opposed say, "Nay".
The "Ayes" have it. So it be said, so it be written, we will take our Kingdom back...POP...

This is Obama's ego/alter-ego that you see. One promises, the other takes it back. King Teleprompter tells us nice things, and promises, promises, promises. His alter-ego AKA King Iamunabletomakeadecision, doesn't know how to rule, so he just does nothing. Flying around the world is a ploy to make us think he's too busy -

Actually, I'm relieved. I couldn't believe that American's elected a perpetual campaigner for a president, but knowing there are two,I now understand. It explains a lot.

BPOP - to keep in context you must remember the lessons learned in the Donkey Party from the last King, King Billnobuttonpants. When he stopped campaigning in his first term, he kept busy by staining dresses and aging cigars in an unconventional way. To save himself he went back to campaigning!
I think the Queen may have learned from the shrill witch Hillarynofun, and said her mistake I will not repeat! So the constant movement where all can watch, and all can be promised, and be too busy to deliver!
Lesson for America, Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!

However questions are not enough, niether are diffused answers designed to defray attention from the agenda, the entire agenda needs to be shreaded, sliced and diced in the waste disposal of common sense.
The coming onslaught of ecomonic tradgedy has been set in motion by the idiocy of Congressional and Adminstrative Fairy tale dreams.

He purposely delayed the decision to reinforce the troops until he had the full support of his lefty Loonies in order to get The Government takeover of Health Care bill through the House. Now, after it’s too late to do the job he will give McChrystal what he needs so when it fails because of his deliberate indecisiveness and America experiences its’ second Viet Nam, McChrystal will take the blame. After all King Obama will say, I gave him what he asked for; the strategy was flawed! America looses and Obama wins because he is out to take us down so the world will continue to adore him!

I'm curious which King will give the interview with Major Garrett, I bet that one of the kings will be hiding in the closet reading the teleprompter and transmiting it to the other, or that the questions will be pre-screened. Pop, you've nailed it again. It's a sad thing to ponder entering into the week end, for most. I have 7 day week ends most of the time. A stiff drink will soften it a bit, but I have to share a video sent to me that made me laugh so hard I almost crapped myself, watch it and don't have anything in your mouth 'cuz you might spray the screen. It takes a wise man, indeed, to learn from the lessons of the past. I'm not sure if our King has a past that is really known to us, so I doubt he learned a thing and I am positive that the people who put him in power(not me) haven't a clue about history and its lessons. CJ can certainly speak for herself, because she is articulate and bright, but I feel I must jump in as well. Your rant against Fox is based on what facts in particular. When Glenn Beck talked about Van Jones, was he mistaken? No he wasn't, so why not come up with some concrete examples to prove your take on this . As to fairy tales remember the song, "Fairy tales can come true it can happen to you, if you're young at heart"".

I need you to rent a DVD called OUTFOXED! And occasionally, I do watch FOX NEWS, and every time I watch them, I never hear one positive story about Obama while the other news organizations that are supposedly "in the tank for Obama" do occasionally have a negative story about Obama. Not that I'm in the tank for any news organization in particular. I mostly base my opinion from independent sources like LINK TV which is an organization which is "supported by viewers just like me":-). And I also like to watch C-Span and follow different independent news organizations online. The moment I find out they're supported by any party or corporation, I stop following them. So, if you want to know why I don't believe FOX NEWS. Simply put, they're a corporation. They're own by Rupert Murdock who I've never heard a personal opinion from but somehow all the news organizations he owns seem to all sing the same chant. Do some background check on the guy. Find out how many news organizations he owns and follow all of them and you'll catch my drift.DO some research and come back to me on my FOX NEWS distrust.

I understand completely where you are coming from. I too read every bit of material I can get my hands on and I am not in love with either party. My point about Fox is this. When I watch I, I see with my own eyes two sides of the story, not one. They have many liberal, democratic affiliated guests on every day, which is why they say they are fair and balanced.
