Say NO to DRUGS
47Why is Drug Experimentation Bad?
Many young adults start out using drugs by simply experimenting with what they consider "not hard core drugs." Time and time again this proves to be a fatal mistake! Law enforcement agencies across the country have talked with thousands and thousands of hard core drug users, and they all have said they started off with soft drugs. The most frequent soft drug brought up is Cannabis (pot, weed, Marijuana, blunt, etc.). They all say they wish they never would have experimented. They all say their lives would have been completely different if they never would have tried it.
The picture below is a picture of an individual the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department Investigation Section arrested. The person was arrested for a felony crime. The person had spent most of his life abusing drugs and committing crimes. He had spent a large portion of his adult life in prison. We spoke to him and asked him why did he do the things he did? He responded that most of his crimes were driven by his desire for drugs. He always needed more and more money to support his drug habit. Even after he got out of prison he started his own business, but needed more money than even the business could provide for his drug habit. He told us his life would have been so different if he never would have experimented with Cannabis. He told us that it lead him to harder drugs because after time Cannabis did not full fill his cravings. At the time of this picture he had injected cocaine using syringes.
