Breakups can be messy, but it doesn't have to be permanent. While some mistakes may be irrepairable, many can be forgiven. Apologizing is the first step, but it doesn't have to be the only one. Show your loved one you really mean it by writing an endearing letter, buying a small "I love you" present, or even expressing your apology in art form. Poems, paintings, and songs are all excellent ways of expressing your true feelings and capturing the other's attention. Of course, when you say you're sorry, you have to really mean it. If you aren't sincere and end up making the mistake again, you could permanently ruin your chances of getting back together. Everyone makes mistakes, but we must learn from those mistakes and use them as reminders to never make them again.

Short and sweet. You really do need to mean it. If you don't you are setting yourself up for an even bigger failed relationship. I found some more tips you might enjoy. http://www.howtogetoverabreakupnow.com/surviving-a
