Some reviewers have called CashCrate a scam. But they have probably never used it. Also they do not understand the concept or how it actually works. True, you will not make millions overnight, and it wont replace your day job, but it can be a relatively easy way to make some extra bucks. CashCrate pays on time (once a month by check).

CashCrate gets paid by retailers for “hits” on their sites. Hits are visits to the site, that hopefully will result in a sale now and then.

The retailers want their web pages looked at in the hopes they will hook some customers. There is nothing wrong with that concept. It is probably a very low cost means of advertisement.

Completing offers for cash can be an awful way to earn money. When the CashCrate offers require a credit card, I get very cautious. I’m not at all trusting when it comes to my personal information, and do not want to be stuck with an offer I do not want and did not mean to request. If you do sign on for a “trial offer” make sure you cancel it before the trial period is up!

You can tell them you do not want whatever it is, but in the mean time they may very well have charged your credit card. It can sometimes take months to get the money refunded back to your credit card.

The retail web sites may put “cookies” on your computer. These will tell those retailers whether or not you have already been there. This can be a good thing or not so good. Some sites are capable of reading these cookies through your browser and record information regarding where you have been shopping.

Good advise is just be careful and aware of what you do click on. CashCrate is legit and can help you make money… just don’t expect to get rich.
