Scary Zombie Costume

Every one has an outfit they only wear at home, usually to paint or clean in.

You can easily turn that outfit into a scary Halloween costume.

The first step is to get it dirty. Yep, dirty. Take the outfit outdoors (preferably not while you're wearing it) and rub some dirt on it. Stomp on it and maybe even throw rocks at it.

Next, grab some dirt and bring it inside. Mix it with white costume makeup and apply it to your face and arms. Use some red makeup close to your mouth to simulate blood from your victims.

Before you put on your outfit, it's time to tear it up. Use scissor to start small cuts and then carefully tear about 3-4 inches.

Do this with the shirt and pants.

A great effect is to rip a should seam to simulate someone having pulled at your arm to get away.

Now put some red paint on your hand and make a few "bloody" handprints on the front of the shirt.

Make sure to highlight your eyes with dark makeup (don't put the dirt/makeup mix near your eyes)

Gel mixed with brown makeup is great for the hair. A disheveled look is ideal, with a few spots of blood thrown in.

For the final touch, carry a fake brain with a bite size piece torn out of it. Every few minutes take a fake bite out of it and groan "brainnns."
