When considering school fundraising ideas, there are a few key things to consider. Here are a few of them:
- Fun - The school fundraiser should be fun. People are more willing to donate funds when they are laughing and having a great time.
- Easy - Putting on a successful school fundraiser depends on the gratitude of volunteers. Assess how many volunteers you will be able to count on and be sure the fundraising event does not significantly tax any volunteer's time.
- Enjoyable - School fundraising events can only be successful if people are willing to participate. Make sure that the type of fundraiser you select will draw people in, not scare them away.
- Profitable - Make sure you select a school fundraising idea that has a reasonable potential of meeting your funding needs. Also, consider selecting a fundraiser that will not risk much (or any) of your money.
