School Uniforms
55School Uniforms................yes or no? I did a poll over the computer to find out what and how people feel about school uniforms. Do they create better grades.........no distractions? Stops discrimination between the rich, middle class, and the poor? Less assults to girls of any age in school due to way of dressing? Good idea or bad idea? Due to economy suffering wouldn't this help out all people without having to buy clothes for school? Less aggrivation in the morning with student or parents? In short quite a few people actually wore a uniform growing up and would like to see their own children wearing them when they go to school. Some already have their kids in school and are grateful for the uniforms. While very few who responded took it as a work of art, it's a freedom of expression. Don't let society dictate to us and take our personality away from us. Well my comment to that is "A persons personality shines through no matter if they were wearing a brown paper bag". I don't buy that for a min. As far as the money part of the poll some people experienced that it's easy to have 4 pieces of clothing all year long, also purchasing a couple extra uniforms to last. Most kids would still wear their uniform after school with no thought of changing into street clothes of any kind. Kids were actually more comfortable and didn't see the need. Surprising but true. Less aggrivation came up and it seemed to be very true. You always know what you are going to wear so there really is no hassel at all, makes both kids and parents very happy. As far as classes of rich, middle class, and poor: this helped out due to how kids seperate themselves into social groups right off the bat with how stylish you can dress or what name brand your family can afford. Even though there are still groups your Personality and brains tend to put you in a larger group with less kids being alone or made fun of. Mostly the respect that kids seem to have being united as one did make them excell better in their classes. So here is a thought for you.............We have our future growing before us what would you prefer: Kids who worry more about their dress code, popularity, brand name clothes, getting in the right group OR more equality, more respect, better grades, more success rates? Easy to pick which one I would like. I want to know I will be taken care of when I'm a senior citizen not thrown away in a nursing home or by a Popular Politician that was the class clown and really did get bad grades with no respect for people in general, no care unless it's for himself and to many seperated groups. Well this list does go on and on, but wait we do have a Presidential election going on right now............WHICH MEANS EMPTY PROMISES AND WHO IS THE MOST POPULAR AND HOW TO BE A LIAR TO GAIN VOTES TO RUN OUR COUNTRY! LLMD
This is my wifes story, I think its a bit liberal (her thoughts on this) But she is a better writer than me and like hubpages, but has no interest in doing it on her own....

Oh I would have hated school uniforms. I say NO. You are right that a persons personality shines through even if they are wearing a paper bag but sometimes their clothes have to do with their personality and it is up to that person to show their personality. If they don't open up to anyone then people can only judge then by what they wear.
debatable hub.
