Science is based on the scientific method, so it’s important to come up with a testable hypothesis for a good project. You will need to find a question about your topic that you can test to find an answer. While reviewing your idea list, write down questions that you can ask and can test for each topic.

For example, maybe you want to do a project on magnets and electrical currents. A question you could start with would be: What has more electrical conductivity, solids or liquids? From there, you may even come up with more questions by making a compass and testing how far the compass needle moves and the current flow in the circuit.
