Scott Baio is...45 and Single Episode 3

What's Your Type?
In episode 3 of Scott Baio is... 45 and Single, Scott's Life Coach challenges him to describe his perfect woman. Initially, Scott is reluctant to do so and when his Life Coach shows him pictures of the women from his past with whom he has shared some sort of relationship, Scott is forced to acknowledge he has a thing for blondes. He takes it step further, describing his perfect match as being:
- Blonde
- Having a Nice Rack
- Sense of Humor
- Maternal
- 5'5- 5'6 in height.
When asked if his current girlfriend possesses any of these characteristics, Scott says she only has some of those characteristics. His Life Coach decides that Scott needs to experience a relationship that is not based on sex. Ever the reluctant patient, Scott agrees to go to Perfect Match, an agency that pairs people based on their compatibility, likes and/or dislikes.
Viewers are treated to an appearance by former Charles In Charge co-star/Baywatch star Nicole Eggert, who reminds him of his flaws from youth and that yes, he did have a thing for blonde playmates.
Following the brief reunion, Scott acknowledges that having his flaws pointed out is exhausting and decides to host a poker game. In true Johnny V fashion, the long-time friend sets out to get Scott to break his vow of celibacy at the party by bringing in a blonde stripper who delivers a pizza to the poker party. Scott turns down the offer and pays the girl to leave and shuffles Johnny out the door with her.
As the episode progresses, Scott does go on his Perfect Match blind-date with Julie from Texas, a children's book illustrator. While Julie appears to be interested in Scott, he spends the meal mentally ripping apart his match by listing the following flaws:
- Ears are too small.
- Breasts are too small.
- Teeth are too perfect
- She wears too much eyeliner.
Scott admits that his mental critique of the woman before him is a typical pattern of his own flaws and that is to look for something better. Scott does survive week four of celibacy despite yet another attempt by supposed good friend Johnny V to see him fail.
I question how Scott's Life Coach will be able to pull him out of this pattern of seeking out the next best thing when it is apparently the only thing he has known all this time.
