Whether it's Halloween or not, everybody loves to get so scared they might wet their pants or run out the room and jump under the covers of their bed--or both!

Well I do love horror and horror queens in the movies are somehow not only scary but sexy too with their knife-wielding, blood-smeared,clothes-drenched,wide-eyed looks.

 Few, if any, horror actors or actresses have
had a stretch of roles as impressive as Jamie
Lee Curtis's between 1978 and 1981. Not only
did she star in the groundbreaking hit
Halloween -- which served as a template for all
other slasher films to follow -- but she
followed it up with five more horror movies in
the span of two years. These horror heroine
roles established her as perhaps the biggest
scream queen of all time. Although Curtis would
leave horror for more mainstream fare, she
returned to the Halloween franchise in the late
'90s and even branched out into the high seas
horror of Virus in 1999.

Recent horror films: Grindhouse (2007), The Devil's Rejects (2005), Toolbox Murders (2004), House of 1000 Corpses (2003)

Upcoming: Rob Zombie's Halloween remake (Aug. 31).

Most gruesome scene: "The Devil's Rejects, in which I'm in the
motel room doing this Chinese-Japanese dance,
which is funny, gruesome, sick and twisted.
That sort of depicts Baby's psychosis, a hint
of what's coming next, me singing little
nursery rhymes to these people, and they end up
getting shot and mutilated."

Back story: A former dancer and model, Moon is married to
punk rocker/ director Zombie.

Why horror?: "You get this tingly feeling in your stomach -
scare, shock. Half the time I'm closing my
eyes, but it's like going to an amusement
park."

Recent thrillers: The Other Side (2006), Rest Stop (2006)

Upcoming: Hallowed Ground (fall 2007)

Most gruesome scene: "Getting my finger bitten off in Rest Stop. I
stuck my hand in and had the guy grab my finger
real tight, and I had to be, like, pleading for
my life. The weirdest feeling was having my
index finger taped all the way down so it
looked like a nub."

Back story:  This South Carolina native moved to Los
Angeles to act and last year snagged a role as
Caitlin Porter in the Fox telenovela Watch Over
Me, which stars Catherine Oxenberg. In June,
she will make her debut on the hit ABC Family
series Kyle XY.

Why horror?: "I'm not a huge fan of horror films. I have a
hard time watching them because I get really
scared, and that's the main reason I took the
part - to conquer a fear, even though it didn't
work and it actually scared me more. But I
really like the physical side of horror films,
the jumping off the buildings - that and the
pure vulnerability."

Most gruesome scene: "Dark Ride. In my death scene, I was actually
decapitated, so I had a head mold made, and
that was a pretty bloody, gory mess, I would
say."

Back story:  Bogart is a dancer from Missouri who broke
into movies in 2002.

Why horror?: "I have fun doing them and hope they will be a like a steppingstone."
