Search Engine Optimization for Your Internet Network Marketing Business
Getting your Internet Network Marketing business website and Internet content to the top of the search engine pages, like Google, can be a bit of a mystery since the strategy to get our content to the top is constantly evolving and changing with the current Internet Marketing Web 2.0 wave. Before you think you've mastered the system; just know that new tips are always being added as the Internet Network Marketing industry changes.
Most of the Search Engine Optimization tipsyou will see will make perfect sense, and seem to be put in place to slap the wrists of those that don't play fair and try to take shortcuts to get their content on top: a.k.a. "The Spammers".
None of us really wants to be known or seen as a "Spammer", so I've included some tips to help protect you, your reputation, and your content from getting penalized by the search engines, and make you aware of a strategy, or systematic approach on how to move your Internet Network Marketing business websites and content to the top, where it deserves to be!
Your Title
Since your title may be the first thing you put in place when creating your Network marketing business content for the Internet, it also is the first thing to be noticed by search engines, and by those that are searching for what you have to offer. As discussed by many others, your title should have the keywords in it that you are trying to promote throughout your entire content. Not only that, the main keywords should be at the beginning of your title, not the end.
You may notice when you do a search, what impact the title and the first few keywords have on you. It's what we notice first, and then make a decision to read further or not. It may make more sense to create your content first, and then go back and revise your title to match your content with your most prominent keywords to have everything sync together for Search Engine Optimization.
Your Content
The next thing to conquer on your SEO list will be your content. Your quality content, or your text, should be keyword rich in a relevant, natural way. In order to show up well on the search engines, your keywords should relate to your content and include keyword phrases as well. If you try to shove in keywords that do not relate to your content or title, you simply won't get your desired results: search engine success. Remember, I mentioned that most of this is common sense. Search engines leave no room for cheaters trying to trick the SEO system. Compete in your Internet Network Marketing business market correctly if you really want to attract your target market with loads of free traffic. Seems pretty fair doesn't it? You just have to follow the SEO tips and play by the rules.
Your Links
Enough can not be said about your links. Considered to be the best type of links are those that link to your site from other quality sites, known as incoming links. These links are like a "thumbs-up" review for your Internet business site and offer the prospect a type of assurance that your site is reputable, resulting in free traffic and leads.
Link-trading or swapping links with quality sites, known as reciprocal links, sound like a good idea but are looked on as Search Engine Optimization Politics, and like I've stated earlier, not a smart SEO short cut to take. The practice of using reciprocal links will not earn you a "Search Engine Optimization Master's Degree". Try to get your incoming links by building your reputation on the Internet and promoting yourself in the politically correct way; dedication and perseverance to your Internet Network Marketing target market.
Another type of link is an outgoing link, or outbound links, in your content or on your Internet business site that connect to other quality sites. It may seem that you are losing your competitive edge by leading your prospects elsewhere, but look at it as a service, or value that offers nternet Network Marketing training and education. By benefiting your prospect with valuable content, you may gain a new fan, subscriber, customer, or business associate that promotes you as an authoritative leader in your field. And, that's what this is all about.
So, How Do Links Benefit You in Search Engine Optimization?
Links benefit you by bringing free traffic and exposure to you and your Internet Network Marketing business. Without links, you've missed a chance for prospects to visit your sites and become a part of what you are offering. Several well placed links can make a difference between you being an SEO Master, or very little free traffic. You can also go back to your previous Internet Network Marketing business content and add links and keywords, change links or tweak them a bit.
While no one is exactly sure (not me, anyway!) how the search engines use our Internet business links to configure a Search Engine Optimization system or strategy, all of these are linking methods that have proven to be effective in getting sites to rank highly using strong, quality links with good keywords.
1. Work on including more incoming links to your site. Choose to add many incoming links from other sites of yours, and sites of others if possible, to increase the popularity of your site. People like to go where the action is. Let search engines lead them there!
2. Include only links that relate to the subject of your content. For example, Internet Network Marketers writing on the subject of Internet Network Marketing should only provide links in their content directly related to other Internet Network Marketing content. It must all be kept very focused on your target market. This may be challenging for some ...possibly because we all have so many different interests that we want to share.
3. More quality incoming and outgoing links, connecting relevant sites that have a higher Google rank than yours, equates to stronger links that get indexed by the search engines to make your sites appear more popular. In English: add more related links that connect to other stronger, popular sites to boost your rankings for total Search Engine Optimization.
On to Less Important Search Engine Optimization Tips, But worthy of Attention: Once you learn all the ins and outs of the system, it doesn't seem like such a big deal anymore!
Your site should be inviting
Even though we put all this content out there to be noticed by the search engine gods, we also want real people to enjoy visiting our Internet Network Marketing business sites and reading our content. Creating content for prospects to benefit from is also more rewarding for the author. Create your content to provide value for your prospects first, and then go back and add all that other SEO stuff we talked about to get your content noticed.
Your URL
The importance of your URL is not very clear. It makes sense to me that the clearer and more concise your URL is, the better. Just put your keywords in the URL so they will help your site get noticed, by people and search engines. SEO success is all in the details!
How Current is Your Content?
It is quite important to add fresh, new content as often as possible. You'll want to keep your fans and subscribers happy with new material for them to benefit from, and you'll also want to continue to be indexed by the search engine spiders. They'll only visit if you continue to add new content.
Organization of Your Content, Site, or Blog
If your content is organized properly with a focused structure, the search engine spiders will be able to easily index your site. Of course, this works well for your visitors and prospects too. Make it easy for prospects to find what they need.
In summary, you'll be off to a great start by working mostly on your links and taking into account the other SEO tips offered here. Your Internet Network Marketing content will be ranked high on the search engines, resulting in Search Engine Optimization Success because what you have to offer to others is valuable! Make it a good ranking!

Great Job, Becky! Creating an organized website or blog with proper links is more of an art than a science.
The bottom line is that Search Engines are getting better at differentiating between content people are actually searching for and reading, and SEO optimized pages with no substance. Make your content valuable to the reader first, and, as Becky says, optimize it for Search Engines second. Good advice!
Lots of great advice. Thanks for all the helpful ideas
Becky, you've given us a very concise description of what to do/what not to do to optimize our sites. The only other thing I'd add is that some sites like Squidoo allow you to do more self promoting than others. Use caution when including links in your articles.
Good one.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the advice Becky. When it comes to search engine optimization, being real instead of gaming the system will ensure your success.
Very nice hubpage. I gave it a thumbs up and I think this is the basic foundation for any person creating content online to start with.
Without this basic information and the ability to use it correctly the so called authors out there in Web Land will keep putting words in the incorrect places or pay no attention to it completely. Resulting in a poorly written piece with no
Pre Sold traffic.
Nice Hubpage Keep up the good work!
Your emphasis on "Keeping It Real" to stay out of trouble is refreshing and right on point. I really do believe that all the search engine rules have been put into place to keep "SEO Spammers" from cheating the system.
If you write good quality content... link it to other good quality content folks will find you and link to you. Google and the other search engines care more about what PEOPLE are doing than anything else. They have to... we "pay the bills"...LOL
I love your stuff. Keep the quality content comming!
the laws of attraction is everywhere...it infectious..you cant avoid it.
great hub
Marc
I know things probably have changed slightly since this hub was written, but I am still going to follow the rules here... I really want to get at least one of my hubs to page 1 in Google
Thanks for the info
