89About Club Penguin Card Jitsu
The card-jitsu game was introduced in Club Penguin in November, 2008. It allows you to advance levels and earn belts on your way to getting a black belt and becoming a Club Penguin Ninja. The game works like rock-paper-scissors but with cards. There is a lot of luck involved but also some important strategy and hopefully this guide will help you become a better Card-Jitsu player.
Card-Jitsu Basics
Card Jitsu is played by two players who each play one card. The important thing to remember is that:
- Fire beats Snow
- Water beats Fire
- Snow beats Water
Usually a higher number card beats a lower number card when players play the same type of card. The one exception is in a round following when someone plays a special card that reverses the order for the next round. Then, lower numbers beat higher numbers.
There are also some other special cards that players can have that effect the game. These cards are only available as unlockable items for people who have purchased actual trading cards for Club Penguin in the store or online.
Getting Started
To start playing Card-Jitsu, go visit the sensei in the Dojo. Click on the dojo on your map then go inside and walk over to the sensei in the upper-right corner. He will ask if you want to play. Say yes and then choose Competition Mode because this mode will get you the most points towards earning belts. The more matches you win the more belts you will earn.
Be patient because you will need to win a lot of matches to get to black belt. It can take a long time and you will need to win more than a 100 matches to get there.

Tracking Progress
Club Penguin updated the Card-Jitsu game in May, 2009 with a feature that lets you track your progress in the game. Click on the blue card icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to see a screen that shows how far you have progressed to the next belt. You can also view all the cards you have in your collection.

Club Penguin Card-Jitsu Series 2
Series 2 of the Club Penguin Card-Jitsu game recently became available in stores and online. The game is played the same way but the card packs are different. There are also now special cards called Golden cards that you have a small chance of finding in one of the card packs that you buy. If you find one, you can use it to skip an entire belt level in the game. It's a great way to quickly move from brown belt to black belt!

this game is ok. i am only a purple belt and i tried and i tried and i tried but i could'nt beat any penguins. this is too hard!
the game is boring we cant earn any points we can only earn belts & that is why i dont play card jitsu .

To get power cards youmust buy a card jitsu pack from toys r us and you will be given a card with a code on the back. now I can laugh at the sensei while i watch ninjas scaring the living daylights out of him!!!

I am a black belt! [Whoo Whoooo.....]I took about 2-3 months to get the black belt. It's not that hard,you just have to keep trying! Even when you loose you will still earn points! My friend just started playing card jitsu last week and now he is around 40-50%.

guys heres one strategy: ok so say the other penguin has 1 fire 1 snow then they will go for water and u pick snow to freeze and also u can use reverse reverse phycology as in the opponent knows u are gonna try to freeze them they will pick fire and u pick water than u win i no its pretty complicated but thats how i win most of my card jitsu games

It is...there in no word to describe how cool is it!I am a ninja and the Ninja Hideout is sooper-dooper cool(even if I cannot buy anything).
Its not fair cause i got a pack of card-jistu cards that came with a power cardand it came with a code. I entered the code online. when i look at my cards on clubpenguin the power card IS NOT there. I look at the card and it says "When this is scored, Your opponents card gets -2 for the next round" What does it mean? Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME

we have got from orange belt to ninja in under 24 hrs!!! wahoo!!! you have to win so many times to move up to the next belt, i googled "earning cards in card jitsu club penguin", went on the 2nd one down and it says how many times you need to win to move to the next belt. Didnt realise this til after we had become ninja mind you!, as we were also tryin to find out how to get more cards! which now it seems the answer is to buying cards in real life and using a code on them! shall do this soon i think!!! happy card playing!!!
If you want to get your next belt the quicker way go to Sensei and click on him then it will say would you like to talk to him click yes.Then press EARN BELT
ok this is for all the people who need more cards
th only way to get more cards is to go to toys "r" us and buy a pack, on the back of the cards theres a code, enter that code on club penguin and you'll get thoose cards.
some cards do certian things like -2 which means they lose to points off there cards e.g. water 4,,,, water 2, some make sure you cant use a certain element e.g. snow.
please read this and remeber it :)

i just started yesters nd i got to the green belt in one day (yesterday)

Im a black belt and im trying to beat sensei. My cousin got the black belt in one day. at that point i was only a purple belt so he was rubbing it in my face.
I had club penguin before him but now that i think, he went straight to the dojo and played card jitsu the whole time. its actually one of the two reasons he got it.

I have been playing Card Jitsu only today and I am purple belt. Here is a tip; don't click on the cards, the computer auto picks one after 15 seconds and sometimes they pick strategic cards lol
