"FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of auto-suggestion."

It is very hard to determine where the idea of Faith started. As the fuel behind desire; it has built cities, nations and empires at times when all seemed lost. It has been observed to provide miracles through prayer, superstition, rituals and healing. It has kept those closest to death safe from its clutches.

So, what does it have to do with business?

"Repetition of affirmation of orders to your subconscious mind is the only known method of voluntary development of the emotion of faith."

The above quotation is an excellent defination for th word Faith itself. Just as preyer has done for religion, the power instilled by Faith allows the bliever to manifest his/her desires through thought.

When one believes that his luck is bad, the only outcome is for the owlrd to surround this individual with bad luck. Your mind becomes open ony to those negative possibilities and the postives opportunities slip by without notice.

In business, this can be a super-destructive force creating only negativity and chaos in any endeavor. It is importrant to understand that "ALL THOUGHTS WHICH HAVE BEEN EMOTIONALIZED, (given feeling) AND MIXED WITH FAITH," will transmute into a physical form in your environment.

Having positive Faith, will add strength to your desire to succeed and allow the universe to surround you in an abundant atmosphere, giving you plenty of opportunities.

There really isn't a good way to instruct someone on how to have Faith. the above statement can only help to identify what it takes to have it.

Any thought that transmits itself through your brain can inevitably lead to a decision based on Faith or belief. It is for-that-matter we must seek to remember that our Faith in ourselves will inevitably lead our mind, hearts and eventually our bodies as the guiding principle in the Law of Attraction.

Self-Confidence is the key to ensuring that our Faith is leading us in the right direction. Religious institutions have been telling us for years, that if we just have faith, that our good deeds will lead to a prosperous life, after-death. Thus, it becomes our desire, to be the best person we can be, in order to gain access to this prosperity.

The same can be done in business as well. Let's face it, you buy from a salesman based on the confidence he carries in himself when describing how his product can "help you save money." His confidence, stems from his Faith in his abilities and his Burning Desire to be successful.

So how do I build Self-Confidence?

The Following formula is taken straight from the book without editing. As you read the formula, you will begin to notice the impact that your personal thoughts will have in your Faith.

It is my suggestion that this formula be read aloud every day. It should be read from the heart. Allow these rules to penetrate your thoughts and guide your day, life and business in your endeavor to become a successful person.

"Self-Confidence Formula

First. I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I DEMAND of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.

Second. I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transform themselves into physical reality, there-fore, I will concentrate my thoughts for thirty minutes daily, upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a clear mental picture of that person.

Third. I know through the principle of auto-suggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression through some practical means of attaining the object
back of it, therefore, I will devote ten minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of SELF-CONFIDENCE.

Fourth. I have clearly written down a description of my DEFINITE CHIEF AIM in life, and I will never stop trying, until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment.

Fifth. I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice, therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will
eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself."

As you can see, Faith can be a very powerful tool in achieving success. The only question remaining is whether or not you have the confidence enough in yourself to believe that your burning desire will manifest around you, the things that you need to be successful.
