Often women tend to blame their weight gain on having babies, thyroid (Oprah),having a large body frame or the catch all reason; a slow metabolism. If all of these excuses were true, most women would be overweight. However, why is it that people whose job is to star in movies tend to shed that body fat within about 4 months of having a set of twins. Profit seeking businesses were so mystified by their weight loss that a liquid drink was produced for the general public called the Hollywood diet. You may have seen these huge bottled containers that of course you could not see through it to find the ingredients. The Hollywood diet comes packaged like private mail to disguise its content and entice the shopper to drop it into their shopping cart.

Secrets of Slim Women are not about the so-called Hollywood diet. This advisory article is centered on secrets of the slender woman and to defact the myths of them having faster metabolism. Do not go for the excuse that their metabolism is different from yours and runs at 100 miles per hour while yours is creeping at maybe 5 miles per hour. You wonder why these slim women seemingly eat any and everything and do not gain a pound. But when you walk pass a buffet table and sniff the aroma of roast beef, you instantly gains 5 lbs. These excuses for being overweight are unfounded because a pound is a pound and a calorie is a calorie. An over abundance of calories will add fat to your body and that of the body type of even billionaires.

If metabolism is not a factor, then how do slim women remain thin? Slim women have eating habits similar to the French women living in France. French women eat very slowly and chew every morsel of food before swallowing enjoying the flavor and the taste of what they are consuming. They choose to savor the flavor instead of mindlessly shoving food into their mouths like coals being shoved into an incinerator. The French women make the choice of selecting dinnerware that is beautiful to their eyes and who take great care, pleasure and time setting their table with much smaller plates and dishes than American women. The smaller plate of course causes the reduction of 22% of any added weight from the meal. Most Americans settle for the fast food paper bag meals with burger and super-sized “French” fries. One reality show, Wife Swap, told the wife swap to be that overeating was the American Way. Amazing, the husband agreed and in defiant of weight issues, erected a huge American flag beside their house as a monument to their testament.

The secret of slim women is that they stay away from the fast food places or have a faster metabolism. If they take the kids there for the fun places, they choose the lighter meals like a salad without too much extras and yogurt. Slim women chew their food slower than their overweight counterparts. They realize that the eating process has a beginning and an end. Not one of them eats 24/7 and if they do you probably have seen them no longer slender on the Oprah overweight or obesity programs referencing Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz. By chewing the food slowly, you are actually consuming less of the stuff that makes you fat and that is calories. Calorie is the measurement of heat energy in the body and if you are not exercising it off then it finds a home with the other fat cells of your body.

The slim woman knows the choice to make when invited to buffet-like meals. She slowly walks around the trays of food and mentally makes a note of the low calorie selections and then gets back in the buffet line and makes the right choice. The slim woman scouts around the table at parties and mentally make a note of what she will place on her party plate is any food at all. The smart thing to do at a party that is overload with offensive foods for the slim woman is to eat a small meal before the party. When you arrive at the party, kindly and politely decline any foods outside of your regular eating habits.

Another secret of the slim woman is that she sits as far away from the food as possible in a restaurant or buffet style café. It does not matter if your metabolism is fast or slow when properly sitting away from the temptation of sight and smell of your favorite foods. The slim woman realizes that if she stares at the food and is close enough to smell the aroma of the tastiness of the food, then her resistance will be reduced to binging or overeating. Even the slimmer woman is only human with a metabolism running on normal like the rest of us..

Taking clues from French women by chewing your food slowly savoring each taste with your taste buds and using smaller decorative dinnerware are a few secrets of slim women. A reduced caloric diet, a reasonable intake of fruits and vegetables accompanied with exercise may very well put you in the category of a vibrant, slim and healthy woman irregardless of your metabolism.
