Secrets to Effectively Selling Your Home
56If you want to get your home very ready to sell and maximize the selling price, here are a few quick tips to add to your 'Spruce Up' list.
- Replace all hardware on all cabinets.
- Repaint the interior with neutral colors, especially if you have red or purple walls!
- Have your home inspected by a Home Inspector to save time and big problems later on. The Buyer may still have their own inspection but having one done first should bring major problems to your attention, if there happen to be any, which you can fix ahead of time.
- Have heating/air conditioning units checked and serviced.
- Replace heating/air conditioning units if they need to be replaced.
- Clean the carpet.
- Replace the carpet if it needs to be replaced.
- Check your ceiling for stains.
- Check your roof and fix or replace if needed.
- If you have a porch or deck that isn't enclosed, enclose it if it would enhance the appearance and usability.
- Offer a home warranty.
