Seduction. Who needs it more - men or women?
57It's not a contest.
When we think of seduction, we immediately think of men wooing women with flowers, jewelry, and that liquid guarantee, alcohol. One would assume then, that it's women who need to be seduced more. Wrong...and it's that complacent attitude that leads many men to look for 'something else'.
Listen up ladies. Men can be just as nervous when it comes to approaching the opposite sex. Fear of rejection, lack of confidence, and quite possibly some baggage from previous relationships can make them hesitant to cross the room and strike up a conversation. I'm not suggesting that you go after him like an over-zealous stalker, but you just might have to make the first move.
If you're in a long-term relationship already, it's even more important that you make the effort to 'seduce' your man. Women cry long and loud about having their needs met, but often stop short of meeting their partner's needs. Seduction makes both partners feel physically attractive, desired, sexy, and appreciated. Failing to express this openly can create cracks in the relationship that someone else might only be too happy to fill.
The short answer? Both sexes need to be seduced. It's not a one way street.
