Seersucker history

Seersucker was a common trade material of Muslim traders during the British colonization period. Seersucker proved very quickly to be an affordable, lightweight material suitable for warm climates. Due to it's natural wrinkled appearance and ease of affordability, Seersucker had traditionally been referred to as a poor mans cloth.
