Self Defense Tips that you Should Consider

Increase your General Awareness through reading and research. A good knowledge of different situations that others have experienced will help to prevent yourself from being in many vulnerable sitautions.

Be Aware of your environment and the people around you.

Trust your Instincts! We all have had that "gut feeling" that we knew something was wrong but not sure why. The ability to trust that gut feeling and actually act on it is very powerful. If something appears to be wrong it usually is, so take evasive action or prepare yourself.

Have a Plan! - Give some thought as to what you would do in a given situation, consider the actions that you would take to successfully get away to safety. Having such a plan can help you to be pre-emptive, having an idea about what you should do can help you to avoid panic.

Know your Limits! - Have an idea about howfar you would actually go to protect yourself or your frends and family. Most women would go to any extreme to protect their children. That's the sort of emotional strength that you have to dig up and use to protect yourself.

It's Not about Fighting, it's about SURVIVAL.

Self Defense Techniques must be Simple in order to be effective. In a high stress situation, most people are not capable of carrying out complex movements. Self Defense techniques must consist of gross motor skills, these are very simple body movments that virtually all people are capable of performing.

These are just a few Self Defense Tips that you should consider, there are so many more but really understand these few simple ones first.

We have added many more tips at Self Defense Tips at our Site.
