Helping to Heal Low Blood Pressure

Low blood pressure can cause some unpleasant side effects including feelings of fatigue and extreme weakness and even dizziness. Some patients have even been known to faint and this is caused usually by a decrease in blood to the heart, brains and other organs. Symptoms can come and go quite quickly but the effect can be quite frightening and disorientating.

Sadly, lack of nutrients can cause low blood pressure as this makes the tissues of the blood vessels less rigid and strong and of course this means that less oxygen and nutrients make it through. It is vital that those with this condition learn to eat healthily and ensure the right vitamins and minerals are consumed.

Internal bleeding can also cause blood pressure to fall very quickly and surprisingly, emotional problems can frequently affect blood pressure so it is important to ensure a more holistic approach to life. This can sometimes mean making some big life-changing decisions. Fortunately, there are many self -help and natural remedies which can help to ease the symptoms of low blood pressure and indeed help rectify the problem:

Meditation

Meditation can help with low blood pressure conditions because it helps to ease stress and anxieties and as such, can regenerate the whole person. It can be used to promote inner healing as well as promoting feelings of peace and inner harmony.

Exercise

Taking light exercise is good and this should be coupled with relaxation techniques. Consider swimming, walking and cycling for example and participate in gentle outdoor pursuits.

Beetroot

Drinking beetroot juice is wonderful for low blood pressure and improvement can be noticed quite readily if drinking two cups a day.

Epsom salts

Bathing in a hot bath of Epsom salt is a simple yet effective remedy for this condition. Relax in the bath for up to twenty minutes and ideally the bath should be taken just before retiring for the night.

My husband has very low blood pressure. His blood pressure was 55/38/81 the other day and this is where it stays a lot of the time. This has made him feel dizzy so much of the time, specular vision and very very tired. Is their anyone that can help us? We have gone to different doctors (all specialists) for years, still go to an internist every four months, spending thousands of dollars and nobody seems to know what to do. He has tried drinking lots of water, takes more salt than most and this seems to help a little but we really are worried. He has had throat cancer and also prostate cancer but both are under control, cancerfree from both. He has had over the last ten years approximately 75 treatments of radiation and he is almost 70 years. His weight is good, 180 lbs. He is six feet tall. Someone must know some remedy that might work. He also has diabetes but has that under control completely even without medication. Is their any pill that might work for low blood pressure? He eats very very good, not many sweets at all. His blood sugar is approximately 110 every day before he eats. Is their anyone out there who can come up with some ideas what to do? I love my husband dearly and am worried about him. We have been married happily for 51 years.
