Selling Tip #1: Offer Shipping discounts when shipping multiple products to the same person.

There's not many more annoying things than a seller who sells a bunch of related items, charges a lot for shipping and on top of that, won't combine the items to save you money. Of course it can be difficult for the seller if they have the items dropshipped, but from a customer point of view, that's "Not my problem." So, if possible combine shipping.

Selling Tip #2 : Don't Overcharge on Shipping.

While this might seem trivial, most buyers won't complain until they get their item and see the cost of shipping on the package. If they paid $20 shipping when it only cost $10 to ship the item this can leave a bad taste in the buyers mouth, and you won't realize it until after they get the item.

Selling Tip #3: Sell Related Products.

One of the easiest ways to make tons of money on eBay is to sell related products when possible. What this means is, if you're selling bird cages, sell bird cage accessories. Look online and see what people who sell bird cages also sell, there's many places you can find online to see what is related and selling well.

Selling Tip #4: Setup a Website Outside eBay.

Setting up a website off eBay is a great way to cut costs and send customers. When someoen buys something from you no eBay, refer a little note at the bottom of the email or include a flyer type ad in their package purchase with a link to your website.

If you are following Tip #3 then you will have a high percentage of these customers make a purchase from your website also. This also allows you to print coupons and such giving the customer say a 20% discount on their next purchase from you on your website.

Selling Tip #5: Upsell Customers.

One thing not many eBay sellers do, and they are losing a lot of money because of it is not upselling customers.
