What To Sell On Ebay?
When it comes to selling your art on eBay, you have lots of choices, depending on what art it is you do and going through what art you create just makes sense as to what selling decisions you make later on in the eBay selling process.
Deciding what to sell on eBay is directly related to what art you create, so that thought of specializing your art into a niche you can call your own is the important thing for ever thinking about selling online your art.
There are some fees associated with eBay listings but remember that you only pay these if you sell something so this makes it easier on you and plus throughout the year there are reduced listing days which you could take advantage of.
The choices of art to sell:
Art prints- These are very popular and can be listed as normal eBay listings or through an eBay store if you have the budget, but to start with I recommend you test the waters with regular listings to trial and error the eBay selling of your own art, this is what I did with some of my tattoo work which I sold in sets.
There are numerous categories for art prints, so if you list them you must write a detailed description with the all important title for it to be found amidst the dozens of other similar listings, I for one look at others listings to see how they listed them, what prices they have arrived at for their prints and how many bids they have if it isn't a buy now listing.
Paintings- Often similar to art prints, but these could be original one off paintings that have that one time purchase and so you could add whatever value you want to your listing for your painting, again there are different styles of paintings available on eBay, so it's a case of adding a good quality picture to the listing and listing specifics such as size, dimensions etc.
I personally haven't sold any paintings on ebay as yet as I am a slow painter, but I hope to finish some soon to test my painting selling might.
Drawings- Another way you can sell drawings is to draw one master copy and save it to your computer and then print it out as many times as you like to then laminate them and try and sell them as a limited drawing print run, I did something similar with tattoo designs and I'd sell them as sets of 5 to 6 A3 sheets of designs with the traced outlines included for the tattoo artist or collector.( I haven't done this in awhile, but I hope to sell more on eBay!)
Drawings have that personal touch, because there are collectors and people who just appreciate the finer points of hand drawn illustrations.
Cafepress and Zazzle Products- Another possible alternative is to create unique products with your art and set them at the base rate and buy them yourself, but then list them on eBay at a marked up price or sell specific things in sets such as magnets and buttons, although this option means that you may have to spend a bit to make a bit, if you are confident in your art, then others will buy it.
I've experimented with this on Cafepress with my demon button series, which has been my top sellers so far, now if I could just ramp up my Zazzle promotions I could do the same with them.
There are of course other art items that you may have for sale and these could be hand made stuff such as sculptures and jewelry, so long as they look good and there is demand for this type of stuff, then why not!

What Art Do You Sell On Ebay?
It's certainly worth a try. I Sold a couple of art prints from my zazzle store last week, which was nice!
I'm also going to try doing the zazzle thing on ebay, magnets and buttons are easiest as they are small and collectible.

Very comprehensive hub on how and what to sell art wise on ebay. I may try selling the zazzle cards on ebay as you suggested as my one attempt to sell a handmade card did not work.
