Trade-In Value Shock

O.K. are you like me. You are always looking around for a cool new driver, wedge or putter. And have you ever taken your old club in to trade it in for credit or cash. Well, if you have tried to trade in a golf club you might be in for a shock.

Here are some resources to help you get the most money and to supply yourself with infomation so that you will not feel uncomfortable with any deal you make.

eBay and PGA.com Working Together

How to use the PGA.com Value Guide

The PGA.com and eBay Value Guide is a simple, efficient on-line interface that leads you to the specific golf club and golf club values you are seeking as easily and quickly as possible.

You are first prompted to select a golf club brand, either from the short list of direct links provided at the top of the homepage of top tier manufacturers including Adams, Ben Hogan, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, Odyssey, Ping, TaylorMade, Titleist and Wilson.

Then a list of all golf club models related to the selected golf club brand is presented, organized by golf club product type. The golf club product types listed from top to bottom are drivers, fairway woods/hybrids, iron sets, putters and wedges. If you are seeking a specific golf club model, the final golf club detail and values page is only two clicks from the homepage as the user can simply select the specific golf club model with just a second click.

Now That You Are Informed

Now that you have done some quick and easy research and have information about how much your golf clubs are worth. You can know if you are getting cheatted with a trade-in.

Or you can get a good idea of what you can sell the golf clubs for on eBay.

But with shipping prices so high now days, I would suggest selling the clubs on CraigsList. You can sell for at least the trade-in value, get a better deal for yourself, and save the time and hastle of shipping the clubs.
