Selling ebooks and other digital products on ebay and elsewhere is a great way to make a few extra dollars and also spread the word about any businesses or websites you want to promote.

By writing your own ebooks or buying and converting private label rights ebooks (PLR) you can add links in them to your websites , products or any affiliate programs / products you promote.

You may have noticed most ebook sellers , particularly on ebay , sell their ebooks at low prices. The reason they do this is to make their ebooks attractive to customers and sell as many ebooks as possible.

You'll make a little profit on the sale of the ebook , but the main aim is to earn from the websites or products mentioned in the ebooks. This is known as backend selling.

You should also offer your customers some free gifts to get them to subcribe to your mailing list, so you can contact them with details of new ebooks & products you have available , and any other offers you may want to promote.

You can include a link to your mailing list in the ebook.

ie. get 5 FREE ebooks at .........

You can sell resell rights (RR) or master resell rights (MRR) ebooks you've collected or purchased , BUT you're not getting the full benefit by doing so , as any links in the ebooks aren't going to your websites or products. You'll be basically working for the author of the ebook , and promoting / selling their products for them. They'll be the ones earning from any backend sales , not you.

So you can see the smart sellers will write their own ebooks or utilize private label rights ebooks and convert them to their own.

You can offer / give your customers resell or master resell rights. This will hopefully get them to resell your ebooks creating viral traffic for you. You can allow them to give your ebooks away freely if you wish again creating free viral traffic for you to your websites , products and affiliate links.

One more thing , you'll see a lot of ebooks on ebay telling you they'll tell you the truth about how to make real money selling ebooks on ebay. In my experience they don't. They usually are trying to get you to sell their resell or master resell rights ebooks and make the big money for them not you.
