There is a good reason for me to write this interesting subtitle. Most bloggers are not aware of their most promising keywords and continue to write on different subjects blindly without a raise in SEO traffic. It is quite possible that you are getting much lower traffic than you could since you don't know the best promising keywords which rank in search engine result pages or have potential to rank high with a little effort.

I will give a concrete example. I know that my gadget blog is ranking around 15th place on Google for the Turkish word teknoloji. This is a very popular search term as you can guess and getting minimum 50,000 monthly local searches. Can you imagine how much traffic I could get if I had ranked in top 3 results? Besides, now I know about all my competitors which rank upper than me and how to pass them for this keyword and have begun strategically apply this.

So, how do I know about all these keywords which I highly rank or potential to rank? It is thanks to a great competition discovery tool called as SemRush. This website lists me all the top keywords which I should concentrate to increase my rankings.

Now, let's discover what we can achieve using SemRush features and why it provides a scientific advantageous approach to SEO competition.

Look at the following screenshot what I have taken for gizmodo.com query to give an example. According to chart, there are around 200,000 ranking or potential keywords for gizmodo. If you look closely, you will notice that keyword HTC Touch is getting 450,000 monthly searches and currently Gizmodo ranks at 11th place for this keyword. They could simply write a few more articles about HTC Touch using this keywords as tags or in titles, get backlinks from their followers easily and increase in rankings to get a huge share from this traffic. Surely, gizmodo will not care much about each keyword individually, but can you imagine how it would be useful to know your potential for small blogs like ours?

.. and it is just the beginning. Look at the following screenshots as well which I have taken for hubpages.com website. Not surprisingly, many user developed hubs rank highly. Look at the "www pokemoncrater com" keyword which is #1 for 246,000 searches and "www baidu com" keyword which is #7 getting a huge share from 3,350,000 searches !

The membership prices are really cheap since you will rocket your blog with SEO traffic after a careful studying your report and applying a backlink plan.

The real advantage of SemRush is that their database is updated often to reflect the latest changes. It consists of top 20 results for 30,000,000 top keywords on 20,000,000 domains by the time of writing this article (July 2009).
