Over the last few weeks the media has been filled with memorabilia and snips from the life that was of former Senator Edward F . Kennedy. We have heard about his two runs for the White House. We have heard about the famous valedictory speech for his slain brother Robert. we have heard about his Lion spirit in the Senate and his passions for Sailing. We have heard probably most importantly his re commitment to government service following the deaths of his brothers and his nephew.
what I remember of Ted Kennedy was his commitment to stand up for the poor to stand up for health care reform and to stand up to the likes of former Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld. Holding Rumsfeld accountable for the invasion of Iraq. Most importantly for me was his liberal philosophy to politics that even though every one is born equal in theory that in a capitalist system this is skewed towards favouring the rich and the establishment rather than the everyman in the street. As a consequence Legislators are to redress this imbalance through fair and good policy towards those with only a small voice in Washington.
What do you think about the late Senator Edward F. Kennedy. Comments accepted...
One thing I think all people from left and right of the poitical spectum can agree on that is that forty seven years srvice in the United States Senate is a incredible accomplishment.

Kennedy - JEWISH OCCUPATION TERROR SUPPORTER. He supported evil discrimination and ethinic cleansing and murder by the hands of Israeli drafted militant colonizers with radical religious rabbis are their commanders. I know I witnessed it. Kennedy was paid for decades by AIPAC
American First and you have to make this point after he is dead where he cannot defend himself !

Well, he was the last brother; it is the end of an era for the world. I'm an unabashed supporter of Bobby Kennedy. There were times I did not like Ted Kennedy, but I really believe he redeemed himself in the last 15 years of his life. I have been hearing in the past few days how much he really did for the US and I am impressed. There is no one there who can replace him and who will pass so many bi-partisan bills. I wish those in the US who only see black and white could stop long enough to really see what he did for them.
