You can send sms/text messages free by using your gmail account or gtalk.
how? if you can see below, there is chat tab in the left side of your gmail page when you login to gmail. so you can chat to your friends that are listed there.
But how can you send to mobile if you can only add a new contact by theire email account. or you can input mobile number but it needs confirmation.
Actually you can't add the mobile number directly using gmail chat
You have to use different software or whatever you call it.
Well here's the trick.
1. Go to http://www.ebuddy.com/ or you can download ebuddy.jar
2. Select Gtalk then login using your gmail account
3. Click add a contact
3. Input the mobile number using the country code without the "+" just see the sample pictures below (Ex. 639101234567@chikkatalk.com)
4. Now when you login to your gmail, you can see in the chat tab that the new contact you added appeared.
5. Rename it using the chat in you gmail so that you can easily determine the name
6. Now you can send sms to a mobile using gmail
in this way you don't have to open chikka.com or ebuddy.com just to text for free.
You can now email, chat at the same time send sms. Oki?
