Carol who is serving in the army has been deployed to Afghanistan. She is a very close friend of our family and I want to do everything I can to remind her of how much we love and miss her and most of all how proud we are of her.

I have been keeping in touch by e-mail and she appreciates the notes from home so I decided to send her a care package. The first of many I plan to send. I asked her what she could use. She said the base is stocked with personal items so she is ok there, but is craving treats especially chocolate. Her Mom tried sending chocolate and it didn't work it was a mess, so I have come up with the best I could. She also asked for lotion, which I am sending. I am going to wrap each treat and container in a zip lock bag just in case something does break open on the way and I know she will reuse the zip lock bags. God bless our soldiers
