Kim Cattarall is Samantha Jones. She is the oldest of the four characters and very confident woman.

Kristin Davis plays the character Charlotte York. She is a conventional woman who works in an art gallery. She is most emotional and truly romantic of the four girls.

Cynthia Nixon is Miranda Hobbes, a career-savvy lawyer with strong cynical views on relationships and men.
