Top 10 Sexiest Bikini Scenes in Movies

Most sociologist will agree that men are visual creatures. It's a trait or instinct embedded in a man's psyche. It's believed that this trait developed because of the males desire to find a mate that could withstand the hardships associated with childbirth and rearing.

Men are still visual and instinct will always kick in when they see an attractive person. Social restraints and moral responsibility keep most men from acting on that instinct. All men are different and all men love to look because of sex appeal.

Hollywood learned this early on and often uses sex appeal to capture their audience. At least here in the United States, it's the entertainment business that decides who is attractive and who isn't. Can you even count how many "sexiest women alive," or "sexiest men alive," lists are floating around in cyberspace.

I don't even want to count, but I will add another to the list. Below you will find my Top 10 sexiest bikini scenes in movies.  Call me sexist if you want to but I have never seen a sexy man in a bikini scene so my top 10 list has only women in it.

 I first notice Estella Warren when I watched the 2003 comedy, Kangaroo Jack.  This movie starred Jerry O'Connell and Anthony Anderson as two childhood friends who, after getting cautht up with the mob, are forced to deliver money to a hitman in Australia.  A kangaroo runs off with the money and they enlist the help of Estella Warren's character to help them track down the kangaroo.  Although this movie didn't actually portray Estella Warren in a bikini, the water scene was close enough for me to place it in my number 10 spot.

 My number 9 spot goes to Nicollette Sheridan and the bikini scene she played in The Sure Thing.  This 1985 comedy starred John Cusack as a college student who crosses country to get laid.  He travels with a female Daphne Zuniga and they hate each other so naturally....

 Okay, I know this scene wasn't actually a bikini either, but can you deny that it is sexy.  Ali Larter stars as a cheerleader in the 1999 film, Varsity Blues.  Her character tries to latch on to the new football hero after her football hero is injured.  She see's this new guy played by James Van Der Beek as her ticket out of the dead end North Texas town she lives in.  The whipped creme bikini is a favorite of many.

 In 1962, Ursula Andress set the bar for all future Bond girls when she stepped out of the sea in her white bikini in Dr. No.  I may take some hits for placing her at numbe 7 on my list but my reaoning is she is now in her 70's and has little sex appeal to me now.  However, I found her extremely sexy in Dr. No.

 Had this list been made 20 years ago Carrie Fisher would be at the top spot.  I don't know any guy that didn't drool over Princess Leia and her medal bikini in the 1983 Star Wars film, Return of the Jedi.  Placing her at number 6 now is a tribute to her and to her fans everywhere.

 Yes, I know I'll probably get more slack for not having Angelina Jolie higher on my list, but lets face it, she hasn't had many bikini or almost bikini scenes.  There is no doubt that Jolie is an attractive woman and her character in Tomb Raider, Lara Croft is one tough bad ass woman.  In the 2003 film, Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, Angelina Jolie's character rises up out of the sea toting and uzi and ready to kick some bad guy ass. 

 Jessica Alba is ultra sexy in a bikini and she proves it in the 2005 action film, Into the Blue.  She spends a lot of time in her tiny bikini in this film which depicts how a group of divers find themselves in deep trouble after finding the illicit cargo of a sunken airplane. 

 The other Jessica comes in at number 3 in her portrayal of Daisy Duke in 2005's remake of The Dukes of Hazzard.  I hear she can sing too.

 Halle Berry is the number 2 spot in her appearance as a Bond girl in Die Another Day.  Pierce Brosnan as James Bond notices Halle Berry's character through some binoculars as she comes out of the ocean in her orange bikini.  Her character is very sexy and just as mysterious.

 The number one spot of sexiest bikini scene in movies goes to Phoebe Cates in the 1982 film, Fast Times at Ridgemont High.  This was an early attempt at the American Pie movie but with fewer laughs and more drama.  This bikini scene not only portrayed the essence of the film it dfined what was sexy to guys.  I dare you to find a single guy on the planet that is over 30 and under 60 that doesn't remember this scene.
