Sexy Guys in NASCAR

They drive fast, they drive hard, and they’re not afraid of a few good bangs. Get it? That’s right, it’s those lap-pumping leadfoots at NASCAR, the world’s most popular auto race. And you’ve gotta have a cute little butt to wiggle into one of those streamlined seats, don’t you? Fortunately, we’ve got the scoop on the cuties behind the wheel; all you have to do is set the radio.

Jeff Gordon

Who he is: A four-time Winston Cup (now NEXTEL cup) champion and one of the most familiar faces in NASCAR today. He drives the #24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS/Impala SS. Mainly sponsored by DuPont, he’s been known to switch it up between a Pepsi car and a Nicorette car for some races. Despite being a controversial figure in the South, nobody can deny that everybody knows Jeff Gordon.

Why we like him: Eh, just for kicks. He’s got the all-American Charlie Sheen kind of look, dark hair and dark eyes with a really boyish smile. He’s currently married to and expecting a child with Ingrid Vandebosch, and we like him ‘cause he’s loyal and committed, too.

Jamie McMurray

Who he is: A full-time NASCAR driver with the hair to prove it. He drives the #26 Crown Royal Irwin Industrial Tools Ford Fusion in the NEXTEL cup series and has since 2003. McMurray has one the last four Busch series races driven at Rockingham, which makes him a quick study from no wins and a Rookie of the Year title in 2003. Jamie also has an acting career; he made a special appearance on an episode of “The West Wing.”

Why we like him: He looks like Ben Affleck without the smell of J. Lo still lingering on his arm. He’s got adorable tousel-able hair that always looks like it just came out of a helmet (in a good way!) a chiseled jaw and piercing eyes. All the things we expect of our American heroes—now why’s he got to hide himself away inside a car?

Kevin Harvick

Who he is: Dale Earnhardt’s replacement in the GM Goodwrench car. Earnhardt was killed in the 2001 Daytona 500, and being his replacement was an honor. Kevin also won the Daytona 500 in February, 2007, by the closest time margin since electronic scoring. That year, Kevin also became the fourth man to ever sweep both the Busch and Cup races at Daytona.

Why we like him: Why shouldn’t we? At 31 years old, Kevin Harvick is still sporting a baby face to put teenagers to shame, and one of the whitest smiles I’ve seen in the gritty, grimy NASCAR world. And have we mentioned he looks great in the Goodwrench jumpsuit? ‘Cause he does.

Brian Vickers

Who he is: Team Red Bull, baby! Brian was the 2003 Busch series champion, the youngest champion in any of Busch’s three top-tier series; he was 20 years old. He drives the #83 Red Bull Toyota Camry but, sadly, did not qualify for the 2007 Daytona 500, bringing his 112 race streak to a close. His acting career began with an interview on the Daily Show, when Samantha Bee grilled him on the “new face of Nascar.”

Why we like him: Because in a couple of his pictures, he looks almost like he could be a vampire, which is, you know... hot. No, Brian isn’t a blood-sucker, but he has the intense gaze and slightly sharp features of an otherworldly creature. An otherwordly creature that you still want to cuddle and have babies with, of course.

Well, it looks like that’s the team. Don’t worry, though; NASCAR is full of adorable drivers who really want to pull over and wave to you; they’ll just get disqualified if they do.
