What is a Bond film without a Bond girl?
James Bond 007 Movies are great for a lot of reasons; cars, villains, gadgets, and guns. The most important aspect of any Bond movie is of course the Bond Girls. The Bond movies would not be as successful without those notable Bond Girls, some of which have the double entendres names. Bond Girls are the love interest and sex symbol that at first battles against Bond’s advances and then excitingly gives in to those advances. James Bond is not into long term relationships and there for each movie (and even mission) he is able to fall in love with a new girl. Bond Girls are often love interests, sex objects and even victims rescued by Bond, the villain, or another ally, most Bond Girls play a pivotal role in the movie while others are just there for eye candy because they have no direct impact on the mission. Even still some films have an entourage of women acting as Bond Girls a group of women used strictly for the eye candy of the movie.

Miss Moneypenny
Miss Moneypenny
Notable mention goes to Jane Moneypenny. Miss Moneypenny is the secretary of M James Bond’s boss. Although Miss Moneypenny is not a Bond Girl and has very small roles in most of the movies there is a great deal of sexual tension between the two of them that is truly important to the series. Miss Moneypenny has been played by three different actresses; Lois Maxwell, Caroline Bliss and Samantha Bond.
Lois Maxwell plays Miss Moneypenny in; Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy and A View to a Kill. Caroline Bliss plays Miss Moneypenny in; The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. Samantha Bond plays Miss Moneypenny in; GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

That's a very cool hub! There have sure been lots of Bond girls over the years, and looking at the photos, there are some actresses there who I know from other things, who I didn't realise were Bond girls.
For example, I remember Madeline Smith from a funny show called Eureka that used to be on UK TV when I was little, Maryam D'arbo I recall from the film L'Enfer and Julie T. Wallace is a British actress who has been in lots of TV series here. So I've learnt a few things, thanks!
