Why is it that some men look so good bald?  How about all the myths about bald men? Bald men are more intelligent. Bald men are better lovers.  I cannot vouch for the truth of the myths, but these bald men are definitely sexy!

"Bald as the bare mountain tops are bald, with a baldness full of grandeur."  Mathew Arnold

Telly Savalas

Born January 21, 1922 in Garden City, NY, Aristotelis "Telly" Savalas, came from humble beginnings. He joined the Army in 1941 and recieved a Purple Heart during World War 2. He began working in movies during the 1950's. In 1973 he first played the role that would define him for the rest of his days, Lt Theo Kojak, the tough NYC detective.

Telly's favorite hobbies included swimming, spending time with his family, traveling, reading romantic books, horse racing and watching football. Telly Savalas died January 22, 1994, one day after he 72nd birthday. Who loves ya, baby?

Interesting Fact: He is the godfather of Jennifer Aniston

Telly Savalas Quotes

"I'll do The Marcus Nelson Murders, but I don't want to do a series. How can I do the one role? I mean, I have to varify my life. My life is a variety, I can't be stuck with one character. It won't sell."

"Who loves ya, baby."

"We're all born bald, baby."

"The challenge is to live long enough to raise my children."

"I made 60 movies before 'Kojak' with some of the biggest names in the business, and people would still say, 'There goes what's-his-name.' "

"Television doesn't need another cop show, that's for sure, but this is an interesting cop, a real cop from a New York City neighborhood. A basically honest character, tough but with feelings: the kind of guy who might kick a hooker in the tail if he had to, but they'd understand each other because maybe they grew up on the same kind of block."

Yul Brynner

Yul Brynner was born in Russia on July 11, 1920. His birth name was Yuliy Borisovich Brynner. He began his acting career when he was in his 20's. He was the King in "The King and I", a Broadway hit and later a movie. He was Ramses II in "The Ten Commandments". Yul Brynner was a fascinating and exotic man with many talents. In addition to acting, he was an accomplished photographer and muscician. Yul Brynner died October 10, 1985. He was buried at the Abbey Saint-Michel de Bois Aubry, close to Luzé, France.

Yul Brynner Quotes

"People don't know my real self, and they're not about to find out."

"Just call me a nice, clean-cut Mongolian boy."

"Girls have an unfair advantage over boys: If they can't get what they want by being smart, they can get it by being dumb."

"Ordinary mortals need but one birthday."

"I have been offered a lot for my work, but never everything."

"When I am dead and buried, on my tombstone I would like to have it written, "I have arrived." Because when you feel that you have arrived, you are dead."

"If I knew I was going to die tonight with what care would I live this day!  How much more clearly I'd hear the songs sung around me.  How much deeper I would look into the faces of my friends...this is what I mean when I say if you could really know your life even for one minute, you could have it all."

Patrick Stewart

Patrick Stewart was born in Mirfield, England on July 13, 1940. He dropped out of school at age 15 to spend more time at the theatre. He got a job as a newspaper reporter to make ends meet. The job only lasted a year, he quit when his employer told him he was spending too much time at the theatre and it would have to end. Patrick Stewart has had a prodigious career in theatre and films for the last 50 years. He has starred in everything from Shakespeare to X-Men.

He won many awards over the years and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  In 1993 he was voted the "Most Bodacious Man on TV" in the TV Guide. He was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2001.  Patrick Stewart even has a human rights scholarship named after him from Amnesty International.

Patrick Stewart Quotes

"When it first started, I didn't think that I would survive beyond the pilot. I did not unpack; I didn't see the point. I thought the producers would come to their senses and realize they'd made a grave error in casting me. I was certain that I'd be on my way back to London...Eventually, it became clear to me that not only wasn't I going to go away, the series wasn't going to go away. I stayed, and have relished every moment."

"The three things that I am most proud of doing in my life is firstly, "Extras" (2005); secondly my appearance on "The Simpsons" (1989) and thirdly, appearing on "Sesame Street" (1969)."

"All I know is that I have to act. It's a compulsion. I'm driven to it. I wouldn't say that I would die if it were taken away from me, but a large part of me would shrivel up."

“I am not the archetypal leading man. This is mainly for one reason: as you may have noticed, I have no hair.”

Bruce Willis

Bruce Willis was born on a military base in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany on March 19, 1955.  He lived most of his early years in New Jersey.  He was student council president in high school and was voted "Most School Spirit" when he graduated.  He attended Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ before going onto Stella Adler Conservatory / Theatre program in NYC.  He plays the harmonica and is a fan of the NY Jets.

Bruce Willis got his big break as co-star of the TV series "Moonlighting" in 1985.  He starred as John McClane in the 1988 hit "Die Hard".  Since then he has starred in several movies and was the first actor to ever "act" in a video game.  According to Maxim magazine his sex scenes in "Color of Night" (1994) are the hottest sex scenes ever in films.

Bruce Willis Quotes

"You can't undo the past... but you can certainly not repeat it."

"Hair loss is God's way of telling me I'm human."

“Everybody, no matter how old you are, is around 24, 25 in their heart.”

"Every day I work at not taking this fame thing seriously. Fortunately I have a great group of friends who help me do this."

"I'm really just a regular guy who has had an incredibly blessed life."

Samuel Jackson

Samuel Jackson was born in Washington, DC on December 21, 1948.  He grew up in Chattanooga, TN.  He was adept at both the french horn and the trumpet and played in the school orchestra.  Samuel Jackson went to Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, originally majoring in Architecture.  He later changed his major to Drama.

After a shaky beginning, Samuel Jackson's career took off in the 1990's.  From "Pulp Fiction" to "Coach Carter", Samuel Jackson has proved he is a versatile actor and a true box office star.  He is considered the second highest-grossing movie star of all time.  In 2000, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  In 2008 he consented to let Marvel Comics model the character "Nick Fury" after his likeness.

Samuel Jackson Quotes

"I was a square for so long and it totally amazes me that people think I am cool."

"I think everyone who says they don't like watching themselves in movies should stop lying."

“Yoda, the Dick Clark of the Universe-ageless.”

"Everybody likes stories about underdogs that overcome."

"Success doesnt always mean winning. There are other ways to win, rather than winning "the game". You can still win in life without winning the game."

"If you have an opportunity to use your voice you should use it."

"I'm actually very ordinary, except people get to pay their money to come watch me work. The same way that we go to McDonald's.. we don't care about the guy behind the counter, but if he was doing something special, we'd pay our money to go watch him cook that hamburger."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel was born July 18, 1967 as Mark Vincent in New York City, NY.  It is said that he always wanted to be a performer.  He left college to start making films.  His first film, "Multi-Facial", was about his attempt to become an actor.  It aired at the Cannes Film Festival in 1995.  The film had cost just $3000 to make.
Stephen Spielberg happened to see Multi-Facial and was impressed with Vin Diesel.  Speilberg created a role for Vin Diesel in the movie "Saving Private Ryan" in 1998.  Although Vin Diesel's character died a slow death in the movie, his career took off.  The rest is history.
Vin Diesel Quotes
“If you had asked me back in grade school what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would have said my first choice was an actor, but if I couldn't be that, I'd want to be a superhero.”
"If you're the type of person who has to fulfill your dreams, you've gotta be resourceful to make sure you can do it. I came out to California when I was 21, thinking my New York credentials would take me all the way. I came back home a year later all dejected and a failure."
"Even when I would go on auditions, I had to be as amiable as possible. But I still had this edge, this threatening physical presence. And I know that isn't who I really am."
"I would get into fights with other bouncers when a guy was already on the floor and the other guys thought it was alright to jump up in the air and land on the guy`s head."
"I was a bouncer for nine years - it was all I knew how to do - and my training was not to talk loosely...That`s still my thought process: Shut your mouth, watch your back and keep working till your ass falls off."
Tom, Yea, I've heard that 666 thing can really turn some people off. You could have had it tattooed over!
KCC, Maybe you should shave him one night in his sleep. Or tell him it will grow back thicker afterwards.
I think Bruce may be an acquired taste, I did like him in "Live Free, Die Hard" (and all the rest of the Die Hard's).
