Women in Saree looks very sexy, but very graceful.  Some women wear the saree so elegantly that they look very gorgeous.


One is the most sensous dress for women, a saree is worn by women from Indian sub-continent.  It is piece of rectangular cloth, running into 6 yards in length (that is 5 meters).  It is one-size-fit-all clothing.  It is wrapped around the body in a alluring manner.

Saree is draped over a skirt called petticoat or inner-skirt (made exclusively to be worn inside the saree – the same skirt is sometimes used to wear underneath long night gowns).  One end is tucked to petticoat and draped around two rounds of the saree.  Then, pleating is done with a portion of the saree and tucked inside the navel area.  The freely flowing other end is put across the left shoulder (or the right, like in state of Gujarat, women wear it on the right shoulder).  The loose end that covers the top torso is called the pallu which often decorated either with simple prints or embroidery.  Of course one need to wear a blouse – which will be matching the saree.  Most often, the saree comes with attached blouse piece.

Women in saree always have fascinated everyone.  Several celebrities from across the world have tried wearing saree – like Anna Kournikova, Serene Williams.

Who ever wears sari or saree, they look gorgeous, sensuous and feminine!
