Fair & Lovely cream model and a successful South Indian actress Sindhu Tolani was born in Bangalore on July 19, 1983. Sindhu Tolani started her acting career with a Telugu movie "Aithe". It was a low budget hit in which everyone noticed her for the first time.

At the age of 20, Sindhu Tolani shot to "fame" with her debut Tamil movie Sullan, in the year 2004. The film went on to be a major blockbuster and started her career. It was followed by another hit "Manmadhan" with Silambarasan.

After that she has appeared in many Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. She is now also a part of Mani Ratnam's stage show, Netru, Indru, Naalai.
