Shepherd Health Advocates is a Memphis based private party health advocate company that works with our clients to help with health issues in order to ensure that our clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Our advocates are fully licensed nurses with years of clinical experience in the medical field. Our advocates utilize their vast knowledge of healthcare and the healthcare system as well as their contacts with doctors, specialists, pharmacists, social workers etc. . . to ensure that our clients are receiving the most efficient and effective care possible. Initial Consultation:  Initially you will have to fill out some paperwork.  This will give our advocates information about you and your state of health that is essential to helping you achieve your goals.  You will also need to fill out and sign some forms that allow us to have access to pertinent information from your physicians. Once we have collected all this information your personal advocate will review all your information in depth and a face to face or telephone consultation will be conducted identifying your need and establishing a plan to meet those needs.  The fee for this initial consultation is 100$.

Monthly Membership:  The monthly membership includes unlimited phone access to your advocate to ask health questions and receive support.  In addition to this, you receive a once per month "state of your health" consultation to discuss any changes of status, complaints, medication changes, education, etc. . . that will be based off of your needs.  In addition to these things, your membership will include free research into your medical condition and monthly information about new research and studies related to your medical condition.  This will allow you to stay on top of the latest treatments, medications, trials, and research.  All this for less than the price of a gym membership.   Membership fees are 35$/month.

Interventions: This list of interventions is not all inclusive but includes calling all of your physicians to address concerns, schedule appointments, check medications, and make sure your care is coordinated.  We will go to the doctor's office for a visit to make sure that all the appropriate questions are being asked and the appropriate actions are being taken as well as making sure you and your family understand what is going on.  We make visits to you while you are in the hospital to make sure nothing falls through the cracks, your  physicians are communicating well and nothing is holding up your care.    Intervention fees are charged at a rate of 55$/hour.
