Shibuya Japan

Shibuya is one of the biggest tourist sites in Japan, and the world. Home to gigantic shopping plazas, world class hotels and restaurants, bars and tourist spots. The area is right around Shibuya Station in the heart of Tokyo. Though that is what most people consider as Shibuya, the area is a lot bigger than that. Shibuya is a ward of Tokyo, which includes other distinctive areas such as Shinjuku and Harajuku.

Some of the great sites in Shibuya include the giant Scramble Crossing where more people cross daily than anywhere in the world, Yoyogi Park, the Meiji Jingu Shrine, and shopping centers such as QFRONT. Also interesting to foreigners would be one of the busiest Starbucks in the world! Serving thousands of customers in a day, the Starbucks inside the giant QFRONT Tsutaya store is always booming business. One can also visit the NHK Studio Park and find out how the nation's biggest news channel does business. Some of the best food in the world is available in Shibuya, as well as many foreign restaurants.

Shibuya is also home to the youth culture of Japan, where many trends are started and still going strong today. The well known Ganguro girls started right on Center Gai street, and the ward itself has developed the "Harajuku" style, for one.  You can still see some Ganguro around, though the style is basically dead these days.

Anyway, if you come to Japan, hop on the Yamanote line and get over to Shibuya, you'll be glad that you did.

This sounds very interesting, but I would have loved more photos, expecially of nature, like parks gardens and things

Thanks, the only thing is, it's kind of pointing you to my main site which does have plenty of pictures and all of that. Thanks for the reply! =)
