As I approach my 41st birthday, I think I'm one of the only women I know who isn't dyeing their hair to cover any gray. My grandmother was a Clairol girl to her very end and my mother does a Shirley MacLaine red thing that looks great on her, but it's like the two years I dyed my hair fushia took care of all my hair dyeing desires for the rest of my life. My gray hairs are super white, and I sort of wish I had more of them. Do you think I feel this way just because I still get carded?

Hi Scott, Just want you to know that whether you dye or not, you are still going to be cute. With white hair and a young face, you might even look cuter. Maybe you should try on a wig and see how you like it. Either way, the thing about dyeing hair as we get older, we can't keep it too dark. That's why women go from red to blonde after their naturally brown or black hair turns gray.

By the way, I just absolutely love to look at people with beautiful cotton white hair....it's the most gorgeous hair color to me. Silver foxes are good too.
